Ceremonies with Gary
Marriage
 |
I am an non-denominational / interfaith
minister who offers
a unique, spiritual and personal (it is legal in the US and Canada) wedding experience.
I assist
couples in designing and planning their
ceremony and vows. |
Couples who invest the time and energy it takes to create a successful partnership are rewarded with fulfilling and loving years together. Preparing for both the joys and challenges of married life is essential.
I require a minimum of four counseling sessions (in addition to planning the wedding ceremony) in order to help couples prepare physically, energetically, emotionally and mentally for marriage. I have co-officiated with Rabbis, Ministers, Priests, Swamis and representatives of many traditions. I am honored to assist all couples, without any restrictions, on their journey.
A thank you note from a wedding in Vermont on June 23, 2012:
Dear Gary,
Our guests are still talking about the beauty of the ceremony. Joyce and her husband looked you up online and started meditating again. Others wondered where you came from and why they were not familiar with someone so accomplished. Thank you for the most precious wedding gift of all. Thank you for bringing our family closer together. There has been an outpouring of love and good will between all of the family since the wedding. Thank you for this harmony.
In joy,
Krisitli
Thank you so much. Even my co-workers who never have much nice things to say were moved by our ceremony. The ceremony evoked the most powerful feelings I have ever experienced. I am so glad you agreed to work with us in the months before the wedding so that we would have the tools to create a loving and long-lasting union.
Thank you for all the help.

Celebration of life Ceremony (Funerals)
In India they speak of death as the 'dropping of the physical body'. I offer a spiritual experience in response to this emotional event. Often I had the honor to coach the deceased through the dying process, this prepares them for a peaceful journey back to the Source.
I design and plan the ceremony to meet the specific needs of family and friends. I am comfortable designing a simple ceremony or a larger event, in either case honoring the life and offering blessings to the deceased is essential to the celebration. I have co-officiated at many ‘celebration of life’ ceremonies, often using live music, songs, chants, prayers, and eulogies from family and friends.
I know the importance of creating closure for family members and friends in an atmosphere of reverence, thankfulness and peace. top

Blessing The Newborn
Welcoming the newborn
into the family and community of friends is an important step in the child's new life. Blessing the child in love is a celebration where everyone is able to share their feelings of joy with the newborn; it also enables the dissolving and healing of any trauma associated with the birth.
We both work with children of all ages and know the importance of consciously celebrating all aspects of a child's life.

Mantra
Initiation
In the Sanskrit language
man translates
as mind; tra means ‘to remove’,
thus mantra is a word or
sound that when repeated
clears and calms the mind by removing the agitating thoughts.
The practice of Mantra
Japa ( japa literally means ‘to
repeat’) assists
the individual in attaining
a calm, focused and centered
mind. Repetition of a mantra
creates a wave-less or thoughtless
state that permits our
true authentic Self to
be more
present in our life.
The vibration of the mantra
affects every part of the
mind and body. A mantra
initiation includes private sessions designed to prepare the individual for the ceremony and the practice of Mantra Meditation.
